Job Description
Skilled Assembly Technician We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role involves assembling custom products using hand tools, power tools, hardware, and production drawings while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assemble products and components according to specifications and work instructions Read and interpret production documents, drawings, measurements, and assembly instructions Install hardware, fasteners, and components using hand and power tools Verify proper alignment, fit, and functionality of assembled products Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process Identify and correct assembly defects or inconsistencies Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards Ensure completed products meet customer and company requirements Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Requirements Previous assembly, fabrication, woodworking, millwork, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, nailers, routers, saws, measuring devices, or similar equipment Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow production drawings, blueprints, or assembly instructions High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Schedule & Pay Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM $19.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience COM098 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
