may be the place for you! We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Manufacturing Novice to join our team in a prestressed concrete manufacturing plant. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who want to learn the skills and techniques required in the production of high-quality prestressed concrete components. As an Novice, you will receive hands-on training and work under the supervision of experienced professionals to build a strong foundation for a career in the concrete industry. Duties & Responsibilities Support the setup and preparation of molds, forms, and reinforcement materials for concrete components. Assist in pouring, finishing, and curing concrete under the guidance of skilled workers. Perform routine tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. Participate in on-the-job training to learn about prestressed concrete production, including casting, tensioning, and curing processes. Gain hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete manufacturing. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor promptly. Study blueprints, specifications, and safety protocols to understand production requirements. You must adhere to

safety standards including the personal protective equipment required for the area. Personal protective equipment will be required for most areas to work, including boots, hardhat and gloves. Depending on the position you work in, safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask and other PPE may be required. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment. This is a full-time position that may vary outside the normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on the area you work in, the shift may require working in the early morning or at night and sometimes overtime, or weekend shifts to meet production needs. Qualifications Can read and pass a tape measure test. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No prior experience is required, however, previous work in construction, manufacturing, or similar fields is a plus. Have a basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus. You are a good communicator and can follow directions well. Can safely lift 50 lbs. at any given time during shift and stand for extended periods. You must be able to read a production print/instructions from a tablet or have the ability to learn. Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
