This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support skilled fabricators by preparing materials, assisting with assembly, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. If you're eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to develop your skills in welding, fabrication, and construction processes, this position is perfect for you! Duties Assist with the preparation of aluminum and steel components for fabrication and assembly Support welding operations Operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications Use measuring tools to ensure precise cuts and assemblies Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by managing scrap materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed during fabrication tasks Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures in a shop setting Ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus but training will be provided Knowledge of fabrication processes is advantageous Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in a team environment This role offers an exciting pathway into the manufacturing industry with opportunities to develop technical skills such as welding (including ASME codes & standards), blueprint reading, rigging, machining, soldering, and more.
