General Production Worker

Production Worker Job Description We are seeking dedicated general laborers to join our team at a facility that specializes in bagging decorative rocks and stones for landscaping. The role involves working on a production line where you will be responsible for bagging rocks and palletizing them. This position requires repetitive, physical work. Responsibilities Assist designated machine operator or production team in various tasks including maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse duties, production, utilities, material handling, and more. Manually move freight, stock, raw materials, and finished materials. Handle assignments in a repetitive and sequential order to complete tasks. Maintain cleanliness in the work area. Use personal protection equipment at all times and adhere to safety regulations. Essential Skills General labor skills. Ability to repetitively lift up to 40 lbs. Experience in general production, packaging, packing, loading, and construction. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous production experience is preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Work Environment The work environment is open air with no air conditioning. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position requires physical activities such as lifting up to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and the use of fall protection equipment. Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
