We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. The Lens Clerk is responsible for pulling the proper lenses according to the RX and material selected by the customer for each order received. The shift is Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The starting pay is $16/hr. No previous experience is necessary, we will provide training. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Locate and pull the proper lenses and place in optical tray. Must learn and retain knowledge of lens types, sizes, colors, etc. Maintain proper inventory and order lenses for stock and individual tray orders. Remove lenses from packaging and place them in the appropriate side of the tray. Work Environment This position requires working in close proximity to a diverse group of co-workers.
