Job Description

Randstad is looking for a production operator for a growing medical company on the Southside of Jacksonville. The production operator is responsible for the precision fabrication of glass pipettes using microscopes and specialized micro‑fabrication equipment. This role requires excellent fine‑motor skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow regulated manufacturing procedures in a clean, organized environment. The operator ensures all products meet strict quality, safety, and documentation standards consistent with medical‑device industry expectations.
salary:
$18 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Fabricate high-precision glass pipettes for applications according to defined specifications. Operate microscopes, glass pullers, and micro‑grinders to produce consistent, high-quality products. Bend pipettes to require angles and lengths with accuracy and repeatability. Inspect pipettes under the microscope to verify dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Evaluate product quality and identify defects or deviations. Sort finished products into designated size ranges and classifications. Complete order forms and production documentation accurately during the fabrication process. Enter production data into Excel spreadsheets with precision and attention to traceability. Package products for sterilization and/or further production steps. Maintain proper labeling, lot control, and handling of components and finished goods.
