Butcher Shop Assistant Production / Kitchen

Looking for a hardworking and dependable Butcher Shop Assistant to join our production team. This is a hands-on, physical position working in the back of a busy butcher shop. The job includes lifting meat, cleaning, assisting with sausage production, and helping our butcher team with daily operations. We are looking for someone reliable, punctual, and ready to work . Responsibilities Lift and move boxes of meat and supplies (40-60 lbs) Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, and tables Help organize refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas Assist with sausage production and meat preparation Grind meat and help prepare products for production Package and label products for the deli case and shipping orders Wash trays, containers, and production equipment Take out trash and maintain a clean work environment Assist butchers and kitchen staff with daily tasks Help receive and move deliveries when needed Requirements Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs regularly Comfortable working in a cold environment (coolers/freezers) Must be reliable and show up on time Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment Food or butcher shop experience is helpful but not required Important This is a physical job , and we are looking for someone who is motivated and dependable .
