Job Title:
General Production Worker (Assembler) Job Description This role focuses on assembling precision-engineered aftermarket air suspension components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work from visual work orders and diagrams to build, inspect, and package high-quality products that support vehicles worldwide. This position is well-suited for mechanically inclined, entry-level candidates who enjoy hands-on work, using tools, and contributing to a high-volume production team. Responsibilities Assemble air suspension components and related parts according to work orders, diagrams, and visual instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment as required to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately. Inspect parts for quality, proper alignment, seals, and finish to ensure products meet high durability and performance standards. Follow simplified, visual work instructions similar to IKEA-style illustrated diagrams to complete each step of the assembly process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety and efficiency guidelines. Stand for 10 or more hours per shift while performing repetitive production and assembly tasks. Perform basic troubleshooting on parts or tools and promptly notify leads of defects, issues, or irregularities. Support production workflow by following established pacing and contributing to daily and weekly team output goals. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures within the manufacturing environment. Handle finished parts by labeling, placing stickers, and loading products into boxes for shipment or further processing. Disassemble used products in the remanufacturing area and rebuild them using hand, power, and pneumatic tools as needed. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude or experience in assembly, mechanical work, automotive tasks, or similar hands-on roles. Ability to read and follow basic visual work orders and illustrated step-by-step diagrams. Ability to stand for 10 or more hours per shift in a fast-paced production environment. Comfort working around manufacturing tools, machinery, and repetitive processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized instructions consistently. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist coworkers and adapt to workflow needs. Basic familiarity with hand and power tools and the ability to use them safely. Capacity to maintain focus and quality while performing repetitive tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in working with precision-engineered automotive or mechanical components. Openness to learning new processes, tools, and assembly methods. Willingness to participate in a working interview lasting one workday between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Availability to attend working interviews typically held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the ability to start the following day. Desire to grow into advanced roles such as paint department, crimper department, quality control, or machine operator within the remanufacturing environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in non-climate-controlled manufacturing and remanufacturing warehouses operating on two primary shifts. The first shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional additional hours on Friday. The second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with optional additional hours on Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Work takes place in Building B and Building C. Building B is a newer manufacturing warehouse where you work at standing workstations assembling products, using tools, applying stickers, and loading finished components into boxes. Building C is a remanufacturing warehouse where you disassemble used products and rebuild them using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with long periods of standing and repetitive tasks. You will work around machinery, tools, and assembly stations, following safety procedures and wearing appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse and manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
