Job Description

Job Description Print Production Specialist at Minuteman Press - Miami / The Falls.
Responsibilities:
Operate digital printing presses, ensuring quality and efficiency in production Set up and calibrate printing machines for different print jobs Monitor the print process and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth production Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment Operate and maintain bindery equipment (folders, cutters, stitchers, laminators, etc.) Monitor quality control throughout the bindery process Work with the production team to meet customer requirements and deadlines Coordinate with the design team to ensure print jobs are set up correctly Perform quality checks on print jobs to ensure consistency and accuracy Assist with finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging Maintain inventory of print supplies and materials Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace
Requirements:
Positive, can-do, upbeat attitude Experience in digital printing or print production (Ricoh, Xante, Xerox, Konica) Hands-on bindery / finishing experience in a commercial printing environment Fiery Command Workstation Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control Detail oriented graphically and in written content. Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment and meet production deadlines. Excellent communications and teamwork skills Strong time-management skills Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or related education preferred)
