Job Description

Production Operator 2nd shift Key Responsibilities Monitor production equipment and product output to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. Assist equipment operators with setup, adjustments, and routine operation of production machinery. Identify and remove non-conforming or damaged products from the production line and report issues to supervision. Stack, band, sort, and prepare finished materials for storage or shipment. Maintain steady material flow to prevent interruptions in production. Perform visual inspections to verify product dimensions, appearance, and overall quality. Follow all established safety protocols and operational procedures, including PPE requirements (steel toe boots). Support basic cleaning and upkeep of production equipment and surrounding work areas. Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality variations to the appropriate team members. Assist with material handling and movement of products as needed, including forklift operation if certified. Support general plant operations and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial production environments is helpful but not required. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in outdoor, dusty, noisy, or non-climate-controlled environments. Basic mechanical understanding and ability to follow operational instructions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and product quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team structure.
