Sorting Associate

We are currently hiring for a reliable Sorting Associate to inspect, grade and sort wood products based on quality standards. This role is essential to ensuring product consistency and supporting efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, for defects, grain patterns and color consistency Sort according to grade, size and quality standards Remove damaged or unusable pieces Stack and organize bundles for production or shipping Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow quality and safety procedures and guidelines Work with a team and supervisors to meet daily goals Required Skills and Experience to apply: Must have wood working, lumber or manufacturing experience High School Diploma or GED Ability to stand for long periods of time and life up to 50lbs Must have a strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills Basic math and counting skills Ability to work in a fast pace environment and stand for 8-10 hours per shift Basic visual acuity (ability to spot defects, discoloration, and grain differences) Able to work over time and different shifts as necessary Good hand-eye coordination Criminal free background and able to pass a drug test

Hours:

Pay:

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour
