  • Part-time, Full-time Croissant & Danish Production SpecialistPosition Summary The Croissant & Danish Production Specialist is responsible for preparing, laminating, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing high-quality croissants and Danish pastries.
This role ensures consistent product quality, adherence to recipes, food safety compliance, and efficient daily production to meet customer demand. Key Responsibilities Prepare doughs according to established recipes and production schedules. Perform dough lamination processes, including butter incorporation and folding. Shape and finish a variety of croissants and Danish pastries. Monitor fermentation and proofing conditions to ensure optimal product quality. Bake products to company standards for appearance, texture, and flavor. Prepare fillings, toppings, glazes, and finishing decorations as required. Maintain production records and inventory of ingredients. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with quality control and continuous product improvement. Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas. Support team members and contribute to efficient bakery operations. Qualifications Experience in artisan bakery production, preferably with laminated doughs. Knowledge of croissant and Danish pastry techniques. Ability to work early morning, overnight, or flexible shifts. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Preferred Qualifications Culinary or baking certification. Experience with high-volume bakery production a must. Croissant and Danish Experience mandatory Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment. Performance Measures Product quality and consistency. Production efficiency and schedule adherence. Waste reduction and ingredient control. Compliance with food safety standards. Teamwork and reliability.
