Production Team Lead

Summary:

The Production Team Lead oversees the efforts of the production team, ensuring projects are carried out in adherence to its goals and timelines. It is their duty to set guidelines and objectives, manage budgets and schedules, liaise with internal and external parties, and assess the performance of team members. They must also monitor the progress of operations and address issues and concerns, resolving them promptly and efficiently. Moreover, the Production Team Lead must encourage and lead staff to reach goals while implementing the company's policies and regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and assure employees are following proper procedures.

Influence team in a positive manner to improve morale, production efficiency and output. Create work orders, assign, and return materials as necessary per procedures to ensure quality and inventory control.

Ensure department adheres to GMP guidelines.

Alert production supervisor/manager of any opportunities of improvement in processes and documentation.

Ensures compliance with established safety and policies and procedures.

Follow training matrix as required to ensure essential training needs are met.

Submit inventory needs in a timely manner and maintains organization of current inventory.

Partners with Quality Assurance team Qualifications, Education and/or

Experience Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent2 or more years of production experienceStrong communication skills

Language Skills:

English required; Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Non-temperature-controlled warehouse, non-temperature-controlled production floor, temperature-controlled office.
