Job Description:

As a Brake Press and CNC Cut Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining both brake press and CNC cutting equipment. Your expertise in using these machines will ensure the precise fabrication of aluminum sheets and parts required for boat construction.

Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare the brake press and CNC cutting machines for operation, including loading required programs and materials. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand cutting and bending requirements. Operate the brake press and CNC cutting machines to bend, form, and cut aluminum sheets and parts according to specifications. Monitor the production process to guarantee the correct dimensions and angles are achieved. Conduct regular quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on the machines and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a brake press and CNC (Plasma / Laser) cutting operator is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Solid understanding of brake press and CNC cutting machine setup and operation. Ability to work with precision and meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of aluminum materials and their behavior during bending and cutting processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with machines. Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials if required. Team player with effective communication skills. Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience specifically with aluminum fabrication and boat manufacturing. Familiarity with other metal fabrication machinery and processes.
