Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate I to join our manufacturing team at a dynamic facility in Roswell GA. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with factory experience and mechanical aptitude to contribute to efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with assembly lines, hand tools, and power tools, and possess a strong work ethic to support our manufacturing operations. The production associate is responsible for assembling/testing medical devices in a clean room environment within the guidelines of FDA, ISO, OSHA, and the Company.
Essential Job Functions :
Responsibilities include: Learning, understanding and following work instructions, operations paperwork, quality, and safety. Adhering to and demonstrating compliance with all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, log books, work instructions, in-process documentation, and safety requirements. Assembling / testing medical device per written instructions. Active participation in Production, Safety, Quality, and Work Environment Continuous Improvement programs. Entering required production and quality information into company computer systems and forms as required. Assisting in coordinating activities of other associates on shift(s). Optimizing performance to achieve Quality and Productivity goals. Assisting with preventive maintenance activities on machines. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with facility guidelines and procedures. Effectively working in a Team environment. Organizing work and storage areas for efficient workflow and cleanliness of the facility. Maintaining complete and accurate records of work: in-process, component inventory, and relative documentation, as appropriate. Accepting full accountability for product quality. Gain understanding of medical device industry practices and guidance. Develop familiarity with ISO 9001 or 13485 and the US Quality System Requirements.
Skills/Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Technical certificate or Associates Degree is preferred. Minimum two years of experience with manual component assembly or equivalent experience. Should possess basic mathematical skills. Prior experience in medical device or other GMP-regulated industry is preferred. Prior experience in manual assembly processes requiring high degree of manual dexterity. Strong communication, writing, prioritization, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to performing manufacturing process operations under a microscope, with excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity for assembly operations for extended periods of time. Demonstrated capability to learn/cross train and perform all process steps in the handpiece manufacturing as required. Intermediate computer skills, must be familiar and use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/timelines. Candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in priorities. Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required, with good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to interface with individuals at all levels and functions of the organization. Effectively work within a Team environment Other related activities as assigned.
