Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. Previous production experience is not required, as we offer comprehensive training and career advancement opportunities. This role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, reporting equipment issues, and performing quality control tests. You will be responsible for accurately completing paperwork related to ingredient usage, adhering to production schedules, and reporting production transactions. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement activities, train new starters, and maintain log sheets. You will attend required safety training and operate equipment according to industry standards. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety Policies. Report defective equipment and accidents. Carry out quality control tests and inspections, reporting deviations to the Supervisor. Accurately complete paperwork detailing ingredients used in each blend. Adhere to the production schedule as outlined by the Production Supervisor. Report all production transactions to SAP/SFoL accurately and timely. Conduct on-the-job training for new starters when fully trained and competent. Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S. Generate ideas and participate in implementing improvements to the department. Collect process samples and interface with laboratory personnel for analysis. Maintain required log sheets including batch tickets, packaging sheets, and equipment inspections. Attend required HSE training and demonstrate understanding of topics. Package, mark, and label Hazardous Waste containers. Operate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and OSHA standards. Essential Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 2 years of applicable experience. Experience in chemical manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information effectively and concisely. Good housekeeping practices. Positive communicator and team player. Ability to work on own initiative. Numeracy skills. Ability to understand written instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a clean-room environment. Production, general production, hand tool, assembly, inspection, attention to detail. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, extrusion, polymers, general labor, machine operation. Understanding of GMP standards. Why Work Here? Our facility operates Monday through Friday with flexible start times at either 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM, allowing you to choose the schedule that best suits your needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Suwanee, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
