Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet metal components used in a variety of building systems, including HVAC, roofing, and architectural features. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize advanced tools and techniques, and grow your skills within a vibrant construction environment. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install sheet metal components Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency Install ductwork, roofing materials, flashing, gutters, and other sheet metal systems on construction sites Operate heavy equipment as needed for material handling or site preparation Collaborate with project managers, construction management teams, and other trades such as plumbing and electrical to ensure seamless project execution Conduct construction inspection tasks to verify quality standards and safety compliance during fabrication and installation processes Utilize Bluebeam software for digital document review and project coordination Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on sheet metal fabrication and installation Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to sheet metal work Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., snips, hammers) and power tools (e.g., shears, drills) used in fabrication and installation Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating, inspection, and safety protocols Experience with related trades such as roofing, masonry, drywall finishing (plastering), or carpentry is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites Knowledge of construction materials like concrete forming materials or stucco is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments Relevant certifications or training in welding, scaffolding, or safety standards are advantageous Join us as a Sheet Metal Worker if you're passionate about craftsmanship in the construction industry!
