Production Associate / Forklift Certified Sun Noodle - 2.5 Honolulu, HI Job Details Full-time $16.50 - $18.00 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Forklift Certification Food production Packing Basic math Forklift High school diploma or GED Picking & packing Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description The Production Associate - Forklift Certified will be responsible for preparing finished fresh and cooked noodle products, and moving products in warehouse with forklift for packaging and shipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Picks up packaged noodles from the end of the processing line. Check the quality of the product and packaging. Confirm the number of noodle portions per sleeve are accurate. Certify that the correct type of noodle is being packaged correctly (thickness, color, weight). Ensure that no foreign material is present in or outside of the packaging. Verify that packaging is completely sealed, no visible tears or holes present. Assembles boxes; preps trays before filing with products. Neatly box and label finished packaged products. Pick and date products off a pull sheet to prepare them for delivery. Accurately counts and records total products and cases made. Reloads box inventory for production facility from storage/warehouse. Record and move completed boxes/trays into cold storage. Completes required logs for documentation. Ensures the surrounding work area is clean, organized, clutter-free, and safe. Follows Sun Noodle GMP's and safe food handling and hygiene practices. Repack work-in-progress items into finished goods. Operate forklift safely to move products between warehouses Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED Ability to move quickly and move from different tasks efficiently Able to work in cold and warm environments Ability to Lift at least 30 pounds on a continuous basis Forklift certification Detail oriented and basic math skills required Reliable, and team oriented training will be provided
