Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Large Format Print Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining large-format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality interior and exterior signage, graphics, and printed materials. The ideal candidate has experience with large-format printers, strong color management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate large-format printers, plotters, laminators, and cutting equipment Prepare and troubleshoot print-ready files using design and RIP software Load media, inks, and materials for production runs Monitor print quality, color accuracy, and alignment Perform finishing tasks such as laminating, trimming, mounting, weeding, and packaging Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and customer specifications Maintain inventory of print materials and supplies Ensure deadlines and production targets are met Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain organized work areas Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating large-format digital printers preferred Familiarity with vinyl application, signage production, or graphic finishing Basic computer skills and knowledge of file management Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and color accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Preferred Skills Experience with RIP software such as Onyx Graphics Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Understanding of color management and ICC profiles Experience with vinyl cutting and vehicle wrap installation Mechanical troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds Frequent standing, bending, and reaching Comfortable working around production machinery and chemicals Work Environment Print shop or production facility May involve evening or weekend shifts during high-volume periods Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
