Bacterin Operator As a Bacterin Operator, you will support bacterial antigen manufacturing operations through media addition, inoculation, downstream processing, dispensing, and final filtration activities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing aseptic manufacturing processes, operating production equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with cGMP standards and manufacturing procedures.Your Responsibilities:
- Perform aseptic production activities including media additions, inoculation, harvesting, dispensing, and filtration of bacterial antigen products
- Operate and troubleshoot automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment including fermentation vessels, Sharples units, and concentrator units
- Complete accurate production documentation in compliance with cGMP and site procedures
- Assemble, sterilize, maintain, and manage inventory of Bacterin equipment and tanks used in manufacturing operations
- Support training of new employees and maintain safe, compliant work practices within the production environment What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education:
High School Diploma/GED requiredExperience:
Experience working in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or regulated environments preferred- Top 2 skills: Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment operation capability + strong attention to detail and adherence to cGMP/documentation practices What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Knowledge of decontamination, sterilization, or hazardous waste handling practices
- Understanding of aseptic processing, microbiology, or biological manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with GMP documentation and laboratory practices
- Experience working with fermentation or antigen production equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
