7:30am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Production position at a company in Mediapolis, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Clean and lubricate equipment as needed.
  • Count finished products to verify completion of product orders.
  • Manually examine materials, finished products, and packed items.
  • Pack, store, and palletize products for shipment.
  • Inspect materials to ensure they meet customer standards and specifications.
  • Maintain quality assurance operations by following policies and procedures and reporting any changes.
  • Load and unload products to and from machines and conveyors.
Production Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. on a semi-repetitive basis.
  • Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to climb, step, stoop, grasp, and bend on a semi-repetitive basis.
  • Must be able to pass a basic math test.
  • Must be able to pass QPS's screening process.
  • Ability to read and follow job orders.
  • Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Adherence to safety procedures and quality standards is essential.
