8:00pm-6:30am Sunday-Wednesday, Overtime on Thursdays QPS Employment Group is hiring a Panel Mill Associate for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Panel Mill Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Catch finished wood product coming off the sander
• Stack and organize product by size and wood species
• Inspect materials for visible defects or damage during handling
• Maintain steady production flow and keep work area organized
• Assist with material handling and movement throughout the department
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Panel Mill Associate Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, woodworking, or production experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and stack wood materials throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and woodworking environment
• Manufacturing/woodworking facility
• Exposure to wood dust, noise, and moving machinery
• Fast-paced production environment focused on safety and quality
