This is a hands-on role for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment while supporting the manufacturing of pavement sealers and pavement coatings. Role Purpose The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting daily batching and production in SealMaster Boise's emulsification plant. This person helps operate blending equipment, follow production recipes, keep materials moving, and support a clean, organized, and safe work area. Responsibilities Operate and support a large blending machine Follow recipes with different ingredients and measurements Build 1,000-gallon batches from a platform Lift and add 50 lb bags of ingredients during the batching process Monitor batches that run approximately 1.5 to 2 hours each Complete shift hand-off and overlap with the earlier shift during peak season Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe Sweep, clean spills, organize materials, and assist with general plant housekeeping Interact professionally with contractors and drive-up customers on a regular weekly basis Assist with additional production, warehouse, maintenance, or seasonal support as needed Operate a forklift as required Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift Comfortable with repetitive production work Strong attention to detail Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and production instructions accurately Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment Personable and professional when interacting with customers Forklift experience preferred, may be required Pay $20.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE Available Shifts Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm Occasional OT required On busy days, shift may run until 7:00pm Why You'll Love It Steady weekday schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity Hands-on production work with equipment and materials Opportunity for long-term placement with the right fit Why Work with Atlas Staffing?
