Job Summary We're seeking motivated General Laborers to join the JR Simplot Idaho Plant team on a project basis. In this entry-level role, you'll support potato production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Duties include product inspection, packaging assistance, and maintaining a clean workspace. This is an excellent opportunity for flexible, hands-on work with competitive pay and shift differentials for nights. Key Responsibilities Inspect potatoes and other products on conveyor belts for quality and defects. Assist in packaging and preparing products for shipment. Perform general housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary production area. Support other entry-level duties as assigned in a food production setting. Follow all safety protocols and quality standards. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 36 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. No prior experience required—training provided! Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team. Comfortable standing for extended periods in a cool, industrial environment.
