Shipping Helper Aerotek is hiring immediately! Job Description This role involves assisting in tumbling and shipping operations. Responsibilities include placing small parts into washing machines for tumbling, loading parts into sandblasting machines, and preparing them for paint. Additional tasks may include loading parts into chemical baths, wiping them with acetone, packaging items for shipment, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and performing general machine maintenance. Responsibilities Assist in tumbling operations by placing 20-30 small parts into washing machines Load parts into sandblasting machines and prepare them for painting Package and prepare items for shipment Clean and maintain work areas and equipment Perform general machine maintenance and cleanup tasks Essential Skills General production experience Ability to work with minimal supervision Strong work ethic and attention to detail Experience in manufacturing environments with repetitive tasks Ability to meet production goals Proficiency with hand tools and basic assembly work Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working around chemicals and wearing a respirator Basic math skills and data entry capability Willingness to learn and support multiple departments as needed Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
