Job Description

Assistant Supervisor Position Summary The Production departments create personalized gifts for our customers. The Assistant Supervisor supports the Department Supervisor in a production warehouse environment to ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality product is delivered to meet customer expectations. Shift 1st
Shift Between:
6:30 AM-3:00 PM Peak schedule may vary based on business needs Duties and Responsibilities Monitor daily department efficiencies using reports, calculations, and tracking data Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel Continuously monitor order backlog, with a focus on express orders Operate department-specific production equipment as needed Ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with production needs Guide and support POC's and production staff to meet required output levels Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues Report safety concerns, policy violations, and quality issues to the Department Supervisor Assist with training, onboarding, and staff adjustments Promote a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations Maintain strong attendance and punctuality Perform additional department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor Education & Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Work Environment & Expectations Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours) Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability required Skills & Qualifications Strong training and facilitation skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area Demonstrates energetic, motivating, and team-oriented behavior Ability to delegate tasks and multitask effectively Understanding of production lines and equipment capacity Ability to identify and recommend process improvements Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn and grow Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred The expected hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
