Job Description
Duties:
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, and manipulate metal pieces
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to design plans
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in metalwork
- Set up and operate tooling equipment for metalworking processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in carpentry, metalworking or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
