Full-Time About Evoq Therapeutics EVOQ Therapeutics is pioneering the development of a proprietary technology that represents a genuine breakthrough for autoimmune disease therapy. EVOQ's technology utilizes a proprietary synthetic HDL NanoDisc that has been optimized to deliver antigens to dendritic cells residing in lymph nodes. The NanoDisc has demonstrated breakthrough efficacy in the gold-standard preclinical models of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Type-1 Diabetes (T1D). Success with these preclinical models is considered proof of concept for the potential utility of our therapy in a wide range of autoimmune diseases and has led to development partnerships with Gilead and Sanofi. With prevalence on the rise, autoimmune diseases have a devastating impact on the lives of 23.5 million Americans, and millions more children and adults around the world. Position Summary Evoq Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated early-career scientist to join our Production and Process Development team. This role is ideal for a candidate with approximately 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience who is interested in biologics, lipid nanoparticles, and autoimmune therapeutics. The successful candidate will support NanoDisc production, analytical testing, stability studies, and general laboratory operations. Responsibilities will include preparation of buffers and reagents, aliquoting materials, assisting with formulation preparation, supporting routine analytical testing, maintaining laboratory organization, and documenting experimental activities under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills and gain exposure to working in a fast-paced biotech laboratory environment Key Responsibilities Prepare buffers, reagents, peptides, and lipid materials used in NanoDisc production. Aliquot and organize materials for laboratory and production activities. Assist with production and stability testing of NanoDisc formulations under supervision. Support routine analytical and release testing using techniques such as DLS, HPLC, pH, osmolality, and endotoxin testing. Apply sterile laboratory techniques while handling drug product components and formulations. Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebook systems. Support daily laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep, inventory management, organization, and waste management. Help compile and organize analytical data for reports and internal documentation. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment. Qualifications BS or MS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline. Approximately 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience in academia, biotech, pharmaceutical, or related settings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow protocols carefully and work both independently or with guidance from senior team members. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with analytical techniques such as DLS, HPLC, SEC, or related characterization methods. Prior experience supporting production, quality control, process development, or stability activities in biotech or pharmaceutical settings. Willingness to assist with routine laboratory and operational tasks as needed Familiarity with lipid, peptide, biologic, or nanoparticle handling is a plus. Experience using electronic laboratory notebook systems is a plus. Experience in formulation development or analytical characterization is a plus.
