This role is focused on hands-on production support, process execution, and translating product requirements into manufacturable profiles within a continuous manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Process Support & Optimization Support the setup, operation, and optimization of the manufacturing process Assist in improving process stability, reducing scrap, and supporting consistent product quality Conduct hands-on trials and production runs to support process improvements Troubleshoot day-to-day production issues on the shop floor and support corrective actions Production Execution & Product Translation Interpret product requirements, drawings, and specifications to support manufacturing execution Help translate customer or engineering concepts into produced pultruded profiles and shapes Maintain and update production parameters and process documentation as needed Support introduction of new products from concept through production launch Technical & Drafting Support Use basic AutoCAD skills to review and support interpretation of part drawings and profiles Assist in ensuring tooling, profiles, and production output align with design intent Continuous Production Support Support ongoing production activities and ensure smooth execution of manufacturing schedules Participate in production trials and validation runs Support data collection related to process performance and product quality Collaboration & Training Work closely with Production and Quality teams to support day-to-day operations Assist in training production operators on processes, procedures, and equipment usage Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Qualifications Experience in pultrusion, composites, plastics, extrusion, or other continuous manufacturing environments strongly preferred Strong hands-on manufacturing background with ability to work directly on the production floor Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications Basic AutoCAD knowledge or ability to work with 2D drawings and profiles Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset in a production environment Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial manufacturing setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Team-oriented with good communication skills and willingness to learn
