$21.00-$22.00/hour
Position Overview:
Evaluate and optimize existing manufacturing processes and operations to improve plant efficiency, productivity, quality, and overall performance. Lead the development and implementation of process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and support business objectives. Manage the garment sample lifecycle and oversee critical production milestones from initial concept through bulk manufacturing, ensuring timely execution, cross-functional coordination, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing
  • Manage the lifecycle of physical and digital sample processes
  • Act as the central liaison between departments - such as Technical Design, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations
  • Assist in quality control of samples, production, and audits when needed
  • Prepare, update, and implement process improvements and changes to meet production specifications
  • Provide thorough instructions for the successful implementation of process changes
  • Interact with supervisors to resolve root causes of production-related issues
  • Ensure data integrity within NSA operation systems
  • Educate sewing operators and supervisors on product/design changes
  • Develop and track metrics to monitor areas needing improvement
  • Communicates findings and proposals to upper management
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Perform other tasks as required by leadership
Qualifications:
  • Proficient with industrial sewing machines, with 6+ months of sewing experience
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Studies, or Business is a plus
  • Supervisory or manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control is a plus
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish or Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Long periods of sitting or standing; walking and observing activities in production areas and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work in manufacturing plant & warehouse.
