Production Services Specialist#26-06897 Chicago, IL Hybrid Contract Starts 7/13/2026 Ends 2/28/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Production Services Specialist for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chicago, IL. This is a 7 month contract opportunity. We are seeking a skilled production services specialist to join the Equities Release Deployment Management (RDM) team. This role provides application release deployment services for a portfolio of over 200 applications, managing requests throughout their lifecycle. The specialist will collaborate with peer support, development, and infrastructure teams across the globe and will be responsible for onboarding new applications for release deployments.

Responsibilities:

Manage release deployment requests throughout their lifecycle Collaborate and partner with peer support, development, and infrastructure teams across the globe Onboard new applications for release deployments and utilize the in-house tool Chronos Support Start of Day (SOD) and Start of Week (SOW) application checks Resolve documented issues while escalating to Level 2 application support teams when necessary Identify and automate manual activities to improve efficiency

Requirements:

5 years of hands-on experience in Application support/development, ensuring stability for Global Markets applications Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, Linux, SQL Technical skills including Linux, Windows, SQL, Ansible, scripting, and messaging platforms Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos Programming skills: Python, Unix scripting Knowledge of ITIL (including Remedy and ServiceNow) and SDLC principles Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills and ability to collaborate effectively Must be detail-oriented and able to follow documented release deployment steps accurately Experience coordinating with offshore and onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners Must be flexible with working days and hours (Wednesday through Sunday, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. local time) Desired skills: Autosys Cutover TIBCO MQ Pay range: $30.83 - $38.83 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
