The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, coordinating activities between various departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires strong organizational skills, manufacturing production knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. The position of Production Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and prioritizing the production schedule. The Production Coordinator works closely with the plant supervisor, purchasing, engineering and other internal departments to identify and mitigate any issues and meet on-time delivery goals. Duties Monitor and manage requirements in the ERP system, including work order and exception management. Create and distribute production documentation. Monitor, update and correct variances in labor reporting. Responsible for accuracy of exception reporting - make corrections as needed (quantities, dates, delays, canceled orders). Be in constant communication with other departments of the organization relating on the status of orders. Perform assigned inventory transactions and assist in inventory discrepancy resolution. Liaison between Engineering department and Production regarding issues and/or engineering modification. Work closely with plant supervisor to produce orders as prioritized in the schedule and investigate and correct if there are any issues. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications At least five years of experience of scheduling and production coordination. Proven experience in a manufacturing facility. Proficient in Microsoft Office ERP systems experience Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration across departments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) .
