Production Associate

XCEL Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers for a growing food manufacturing facility in the Evanston, IL area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company recognized for its positive work environment and commitment to treating employees as valued team members from day one.

6:00 AM•Finish 2nd

Shift:

2:30 PM•Finish Monday through Friday Overtime available based on production needs Candidates must be able to work until production is completed (no fixed end time) 8•12 hour shifts

$18.00 per hour 2nd

Shift:

$19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, twisting, and standing for extended periods (8+ hours) Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis Operate in a warm production environment (average 75°F or higher) Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards Inspect product quality throughout the production process Load and unload baking trays onto racks and conveyor ovens Clean and organize trays for reuse Assist with mixing operations, including lifting ingredients into mixers Rotate between various production areas as needed Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in elevated temperatures Prior experience in food production or GMP-regulated environments preferred How to
