Technician Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Technician to ensure parts meet all quality and production standards in our powder metal manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting operators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Inspect and document part quality (density, length, weight, run-out depth, and visual defects). Perform scheduled checks, weighing, sorting, and magnaflux/process inspections. Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and support resolution. Audit operators throughout the plant for process adherence. Maintain accurate records for material certifications. Order supplies and perform basic preventative maintenance. Safely use testing equipment, chemicals, and material-handling tools. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Support and uphold the BN Quality Policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Working knowledge of SPC Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards. Good speaking, hearing, and vision abilities. Excellent manual dexterity. Reasonable accommodation will be considered. Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and mineral spirits. Overtime or weekend work may be required. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 40 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $27.00 - $27.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
