Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic food processing team as a Production Team Leader and become a vital part of delivering high-quality and safe wholesale food products. In this energetic role, you will support various stages of food production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your hands-on involvement will help maintain efficient operations in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in food manufacturing. Hours may vary from 5
  • 8 hour shifts to 4
  • 10 hour shifts. Must be available to work between 7:00am
  • 5:30pm.
Responsibilities Help keep the Production Team on task Manage and record Production paperwork Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow Follow strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols to uphold food safety standards, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines Assist in the preparation, inspection, and packaging of food products, maintaining quality control throughout the process Adhere to FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to ensure compliance with all safety standards Conduct routine sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools to prevent contamination and promote a safe working environment Support inventory management by accurately handling materials and supplies using basic math skills Operate forklifts safely when required for moving raw materials or finished goods within the facility Preferred Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with food industry manufacturing or food processing plants is preferred, but not required Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge or experience working with processing machinery is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory and production tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sanitation standards Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks safely in a fast-paced environment
