We are seeking Production Operators and Labor workers for growing company located near Joliet and Crest Hill, IL area. Production team and Operators will assist warehouse food manufacturer responsibilities such as operating machinery, packaging and inspecting food products in baking departments and other production areas. This is a potential temp to hire position.

Job Openings:

3rd shift night Operators starting at $21.00 per hour (all employees will train on 1st and 2nd shift before starting 3rd shift schedule) 10:30PM to 6:30AM 2nd shift afternoon Production workers at $18.01 per hour 4:00PM-2:00AM 2nd shift Machine Operators at $19.01 per hour 2:00PM-10:30PM All employees will work in temp warm environment and cooler environment, cross training to learn all departments. Positions require basic communication, able to handle repetitious tasks, able to lift up to 50lbs, able to work in fast paced environments where applicable, able to meet physical requirements and not limited to the following below: Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment. Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area. Must be able to set up, change over, adjust, repair and operate all machinery/ equipment, on all shifts. Ensures all equipment is in operating condition and ready for on time startup. Must have the knowledge and experience to make necessary adjustments to keep products flowing consistently. Performs process control and quality checks. Operates date coders and verifies code dates on cases. Observes all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment. Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to General Manufacturing Practices and Safety Guidelines. Cleans all equipment using current sanitation practices. Assists Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products and other miscellaneous duties.

Work Environment:

Work performed in a shop environment where a noise level is moderate but on some instances might be required to where ear protection is necessary Safety Shoes (non-slip) Might be required to wear safety glasses Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts Regularly exposed to dust, odors, and moderate noise Occasionally exposed to hot and cold temperature
