POSITION
:
GENERAL FACTORY DEPARTMENT
: All Production Departments
POSITION SUMMARY
: Entry level for all new employees with little or no manufacturing experience.
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday• 6:00 AM - 2:00PM Saturdays depending on business needs DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Perform basic manufacturing and assembly functions in Production departments as assigned. Work under instruction of Supervisor or Department Assistant. Train for additional responsibilities. Adhere to basic housekeeping; i.e., wood, scrap metal, garbage, liquid spills. Comply with all health and safety procedures. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Department Assistant.
REQUIRED
SKILLS and
KNOWLEDGE
: High level of mechanical aptitude preferred. Verbal and written communication in English. Read blueprints, both English and metric. Understanding of
ISO 9001
2015. Knowledge of labor cards, routing and move ticket. Knowledge of Company policies, shop and safety rules. Basic knowledge on the care and use of inspection devices; tape measure, combination square, protractor, caliper, etc. Basic math skills. As required, ability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and lift cumbersome and or heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
