Job Description

ASSEMBLY & PRODUCTION
Assemble various pumps, motors, and pump components using hand tools, power tools, and production fixtures. Build and assembly sub-assemblies for final production or service parts. Apply product identification, labels, and required marking according to specifications. Perform radial drill set ups and operate drilling equipment as needed.
TESTING & QUALITY CONTROL
Test pumps and assemblies for leaks, performance, and proper operation. Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts, in-process assemblies, and finished goods. Report any defects, non-conforming conditions, shortages, or equipment issues promptly.
IMPELLER PREPERATION
Trim and deburr impellers to required dimensions using designated tools and equipment. Perform static balancing of impellers by removing materials through drilling, hand tools, fixtures, or automated systems
PAINTING & FINISHING
Prepare paint materials, including thinning to required viscosity when needed. Spray paint motors, components, sub-assemblies, and completed unites using manual or hoist assisted methods. Load and unload parts into paint booths or monorail lines safely and efficiently.
MATERIAL HANDLING & PACKAGING
Move parts, components, and completed products using hand carts, forklifts, hoists, electric pallet jacks, and other authorized equipment. Pack, crate, or skid various productions using cartons, skids, wire-bound crates, or custom-built wooden crates. Operate power saws and hand tools to build or modify crates; perform blade changes and adjustments as needed.
DOCUMENTATION & HOUSEKEEPING
Maintain production records, quality logs, and related documentation accurately. Perform routine cleaning of equipment, tools, and work areas. Support preventative maintenance activities as assigned. Perform additional related duties to support team and operational needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
  • Ability to read and use precision measuring tools to verify specifications. Experience & Skills
  • Typically 1-2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with larger mechanical units.
  • Prior experience with drilling, balancing, or painting equipment is beneficial.
  • Introduction to ISO, blueprint reading, hazardous waste awareness. Working Conditions
  • Work performed in manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as directed.
