Manages multiple or complex engineering projects involving design, development and testing of edge AI compute ECU's for use within machine and autonomy systems. Platform lead for end-to-end delivery solutions. Design, development and testing of electrical and/or electronic components for use within high performance machines and engine systems.
What You Will Do:
Coordinating with the businesses, sales, marketing, and platform groups to manage resources for each deliverable within the project. Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems. Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members. Communicating with customers and managing expectations; ensuring effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms. Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Technical Excellence:
Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Project Management:
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Electronics Engineering
  • HTH:
    Knowledge of electronics engineering; ability to design, test and manufacture electronic circuits, components and devices. Mechanical Engineering
  • MFG:
    Knowledge of mechanical engineering processes, techniques and methods; ability to design and implement machines and other mechanical devices that safely realize a desired objective or invention. Supplier Management
MFG:
Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems:
Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing and product development environment.
Top Candidate Will Have:
Automotive Tier 1 and Stakeholder Relationship Experience Production ownership SW and HW Design experience Platform Lead end to end experience

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00
  • $192,710.
00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
