  • 7:30am QPS Employment Group has a great Production Operator position available at a company in Canton, MO. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Apply today! Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate machinery and produce parts to meet established specifications, tolerances, and production targets
  • Ensure components meet fit, form, and functional requirements
  • Perform inspections using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with functional, quality, and cosmetic standards
  • Accurately maintain production records, including counts, inspection results, and any rejections or defects
  • Set up and inspect equipment prior to use; perform routine maintenance and basic adjustments
  • Package accepted parts correctly and count them into designated containers or totes
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections per quality plan requirements and document the results
  • Apply product identification labels as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
Production Operator Requirements:
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical or vocational training in plastic production is a plus
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations is desirable
