Production Worker Wage:
$18.07- 20.
Shift:
1st, 2nd QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This position has the opportunity for hire. Production Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate manufacturing equipment, hoists, and production machinery.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Monitor machine performance and identify defects or quality concerns.
- Make minor machine adjustments and report mechanical issues.
- Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Load and unload rims, wheels, and production materials.
- Move products throughout the facility using carts, hoists, or material handling equipment.
- Perform visual quality inspections.
- Support production operations as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards throughout the work area.
Production Worker Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
