Job Description

Job Summary:
Minic Precision is seeking a Manufacturing Associate at our Spring Grove, IL facility. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, keeping our facility clean, chamfering bars, loading raw materials, cleaning product, and tumbling. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that can excel in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Job Type:
Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
Shifts Available:
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Core Job Responsibilities Keep facility clean, including but not limited to, the breakroom, restroom and shop floor. Chamfer round bars and load raw materials into the machine. Take direction from and collaborate with Production Manager and Quality Manager on daily priorities. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Continuous focus on producing a high-quality product. Complete any additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
1 year of Manufacturing experience in a precision machining environment is preferred. Must be willing to learn all aspects of our business. Quality control experience is beneficial. Machining experience is not required, but some mechanical ability is welcome. A positive attitude and exceptional aptitude for growing your skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, understand, and accurately follow department processes and procedures. Ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects/tasks. A collaborative mindset that focuses on teamwork. Detail oriented with the ability to accurately follow work instructions. The ability to effectively use precision measuring instruments.

Physical Job Requirements:
Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally Ability to stand and walk the vast majority of your shift Ability to reach, crouch, stretch, and work with arms extended

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
