General Production Worker

Job Title General Production Worker Job Summary We are seeking dependable General Production Workers to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role involves handling materials, lifting heavy items, and assisting with production processes to ensure efficient workflow and on time output. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work and working in a fast paced production environment. Job Responsibilities Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the production area. Lift and carry heavy items throughout the shift in a safe and controlled manner. Assist with production line operations including packing, labeling, sorting, and assembly. Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output goals. Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures. Report damaged materials or equipment issues to supervisors. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to lift and move heavy materials consistently throughout the shift Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Basic communication skills in English Ability to work on a production line or warehouse floor for extended periods Preferred Experience Previous experience in general labor, warehouse work, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing production Experience working in a fast paced or physically demanding environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
