3rd
Shift Machine Operator Assistant Shift:
Sunday•Thursday, 11:00 PM•7:00 AM (Overtime opportunities available during the week and weekends)
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a dependable and motivated Machine Operator Assistant for our 3rd shift. This position supports the operation of forging and CNC machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and eager to learn hands-on production skills. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in manufacturing while working with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and monitoring of forging and CNC machines Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Perform basic machine tending tasks and keep production running efficiently Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards Use basic measuring tools such as calipers or gauges when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors Support production goals and help minimize downtime
Work Environment:
Industrial setting with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery Smoke-free facility (no smoking permitted anywhere on-site) Employees must remain on the premises for the duration of their shift; leaving the building or going to personal vehicles during breaks is not allowed
Dress Code & Safety Requirements:
The following are required at all times while on the production floor: Steel-toed shoes or boots Safety glasses Hearing protection Jeans with no rips, holes, or tears
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Ability to follow directions and work well with a team Strong attention to detail and quality Willingness to learn and take initiative Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements:
