Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Fabrication Worker, where your skills will help shape high-quality metal products through precise fabrication processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and tools in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of durable, reliable components. Your expertise in mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques will be essential in ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards while maintaining safety and efficiency. Duties Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment including; plasma cutters, press brakes, milling machines, and stamping presses to produce metal parts according to specifications. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to accurately cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials. Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement of fabricated components. Set up and program plasma table and press break to ensure precise cuts and shapes. Perform welding using various techniques to join metal parts securely while adhering to safety standards. Operate forklifts and cranes safely for material handling and movement within the fabrication area. Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance; troubleshoot issues promptly. Assist in assembly processes by fitting fabricated parts together accurately for final product completion. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery including laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brakes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes. Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control. Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving sheet metal fabrication and tooling setup. Valid forklift certification; experience operating cranes is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Familiarity with GD&T principles for ensuring component tolerances are met consistently. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Ability to lift 50 lbs
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
