1st- Shop Helper

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, self-discipline, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and succeed. This position offers opportunities for both experienced candidates and entry-level individuals willing to be trained.

Hours:

7am-3:30pm

Pay:

$16.00 Key Responsibilities Operate saws and assist with material cutting processes Wash and clean manufactured parts Organize materials, tools, and work areas Perform general housekeeping and shop cleaning duties Assist with building and facility maintenance Support production and shop operations as needed Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and willingness to learn Professional appearance and conduct Ability to work independently and collaboratively with coworkers Desire for long-term growth and success Requirements Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Competitive pay Paid vacation and personal time 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement Health insurance Stable employment with a well-established company #FortWayne
