- Precision Wire Technologies is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Associate to join our team!
This role is focused on ensuring the productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety of our annealing processes. While cross-training into other departments (Drawing and Respool) may be available in the future, your initial training and responsibilities will focus on annealing operations. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed. Inspect and test product to meet and exceed customer quality standards. Support production efficiency and meet schedule targets set by the Supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards. Contribute to improvement projects and additional tasks as assigned. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Must pass a background check, drug screen, and be authorized to work in the U.S. Strong math and measurement skills. Mechanical aptitude with proven success in a hands-on, production, or technical role. The ability to
FREQUENTLY
lift 50lbs, and occasionally 80lbs an estimated few times per shift. The ability to handle physically demanding work. Comfortable using computers for data entry and reporting. Knowledge of ISO quality systems preferred but not required. Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. Dependable with a positive attitude. Physical Demands Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for operating machinery and handling materials. Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 80 lbs.
Expected Hours of Work Expected Hours of Work Training:
Up to 3 weeks on 1st shift (7:00 am
- 5:00 pm, Mon-Thu). Regular Schedule (3rd Shift): Monday-Thursday, 7:00 pm
- 5:00 am (10-hour shifts).
Overtime may be required as business needs demand.
