Employee is expected to learn 3 different departments: Flat Wire Intermediate AVI, Turkshead AVI, and High-Speed Spooling AVI.
Hours:
5PM to 5AM Fri., Sat., and Sun. based on clock in times. The things you'll do Ensure the efficient operation of all assigned equipment to produce material that meets the specifications and quality required by Fort Wayne Metals and our customers. Fill in for the assigned department when additional help is needed to meet production demands.
What we expect from you:
2-3 years' experience in a production environment, with one year of Fort Wayne Metals production experience. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Strong mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Ability to perform basic computer functions and possess intermediate math, reading and writing skills. Ability to understand and apply safe work practices This job position may require access to controlled technology or technical data; applicant must be a candidate for export licensing and willing to participate in export licensing, if required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Average weights in production range from 10-25 lbs. Maximum weights may exceed 75-80 lbs. on occasion. May be required to perform work above shoulder height. Substantial reaching, bending, pulling, twisting, lifting and squatting during shift. Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors. Standing/walking most of shift.
