Job Description

Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description As a Production Associate, you will oversee the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products in our state-of-the-art facility. Your role will include handling raw materials, operating machinery, troubleshooting basic issues, and ensuring product quality through careful monitoring and documentation. You will also use equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts to manage materials and finished products within our temperature-controlled, clean environment. Responsibilities Handle raw materials to prepare for production. Feed raw wire into the production line as needed. Set machines according to specification sheets. Operate machinery and troubleshoot basic issues during production. Monitor quality using HMI touchscreen technology. Document in-process updates and pull enamel samples. Move finished products using overhead cranes and forklifts. Store finished products in the warehouse efficiently. Essential Skills Experience in general labor, production, and machine operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and assembly tasks. Forklift certification and experience in handling equipment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications. Ability to read, write, and understand English work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and multitask effectively. Willingness to be trained on new equipment such as forklifts. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and handling heights. Work Environment Work in the newly built, temperature-controlled 700 building, resembling a clean room with advanced automated machinery. The facility requires attention to detail and cleanliness, catering specifically to the automotive industry, including Toyota. Shifts are organized on a 2/2/3 schedule, offering both day and night options. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
