Responsibilities:

Basic machine operation, secondary operations, product assembly, and/or inspection of product. Basic responsibility for general safety of work area including basic machine safety. Basic responsibility for 5S of work areas. Assist with paperwork, reporting production output and scrap reporting. May assist with scrap reduction efforts. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent (Educación Diversificada diploma-CR). Entry level, 0-2 years of production or assembly experience. Basic knowledge of equipment operation. Ability to recognize obvious equipment issues and report them to Supervisor. Cross-Training is limited to one or two lines or processes. Basic math skills and familiarity with simple measurement tools. Capable of completing production logs, quality control checklists, incident reports and other applicable production forms or documents. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform tasks safely and effectively.
